September: Riverford Farm visit(tbc)
Harvest Supper 17th October Don has booked Whitchurch Hall. Supper at 7.30pm followed by speaker, who is also invited to supper. Judy will be caterer. Charge £7.50 each. Mark will collect names and deposits.Gerry Woodcock cannot now be our speaker.
Mark will speak to Jenny Sanders for her talk on Devon Longhouses. If not available, Pamela will approach Kay Rouse to talk on Mercyships.
Likely costs will be £32.50 hall hire

November Julia will book the Red & Black Club for an evening in November (14th or 15th preferred). We will decide how to use it at the next meeting.
Suggestions: A Night at the Races – DVD + TV
Skittles and supper.
General short games in groups.
Theme Evening – dressing up? Appropriate food.
Dec 5th Dickensian Evening Gaby will be having another stall in Tavistock to promote Celle. We must get involved to support this. We can promote Twinning at the same time.
December 7th Seasonal Drinks
Host required. Mark will put in another request for volunteers from the membership. The newsletter will go out at the end of September.
We will have a bran tub. Each person must bring a wrapped parcel – pink for female, blue for male, yellow for indeterminate/unisex.
January or February ’09 Annual Dinner After discussion, Mary will check the Golf Club for a date. Mark will include in newsletter.
May ’09 Pontivy visitors. Mark will check dates.
July/Aug ’09 Celle visit. We need to decide method of travel and dates. Mark will speak to Gab
